Bhpoal: Suspended Dalit IAS officer seeks nod to end life

Bhopal: Apparently peeved at allegedly being denied an audience with Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, suspended Dalit IAS officer Shashi Karnawat on Wednesday sought the former’s permission for her euthanasia.

In a written communication to the chief minister, the IAS officer of MP cadre who is currently serving suspension after a court sentenced her to Rs 50 lakh penalty and five-year-imprisonment in printing material purchase scam reportedly lamented that she has unsuccessfully been trying for an appointment with the chief minister for the past five days.

The IAS officer who has declared to take sanyas after spending one month at the recently concluded Ujjain Simhastha.
