Godavari crosses danger mark at Kaleshwaram

Hyderabad: The Godavari river crossed the danger mark at Kaleshwaram on Thursday night, according to the state irrigation department.

Against the danger mark of 104.75 metres (above mean sea level), the Godavari was flowing at 104.95 metres, the department said late on Thursday night.

In the temple town of Bhadrachalam, the water level in the Godavari stood at 49.8 feet at 1 pm, and the second flood warning was in force. The third and final flood warning level is at 53 feet.
