Python Sighting In Kukatpally and Khammam In Rainwater
HYDERABAD: It seems to be raining 'pythons' instead of 'cats and dogs' in the state of Telangana. The state has been facing the onslaught of heavy rainfalls for more than a week now. While the incessant rains have resulted in floods and the accompanying chaos in some areas, it has also led to rare sightings of wild animals washed away in the flood/rainwaters that have caused surprise and alarm amongst people in the state.
Two days after a giant python was spotted slithering on a busy road in Kukatpally attracting a crowd of curious onlookers capturing the scene on their smartphones, another python was sighted at Venkatesh Nagar in Khammam III town.
Reportedly, the snake came onto the road along with the rainwater. Few adventurous people of the area were seen picking up the creature and holding it above their heads and posing for pictures.
