Nabard gives Rs 804 crore for Mission Bhagiratha project

Hyderabad: Nabard has sanctioned Rs 804 crore to a package of the ongoing Mission Bhagiratha project.  The cost of this package is Rs 936 crore, and the state government will pay the rest. This package is meant to build a drinking water network for Palair and Wyra Assembly constituencies under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.

An official said Nabard was providing term loans for Mission Bhagiratha at 10 per cent interest, with a 2 per cent penal interest if the payments were delayed.
