Hyderabad: Sponge piece found in chicken curry

Hyderabad: A piece of sponge was found in a chicken dish served to a customer of Kritunga hotel, Punjagutta. Though the hotel offered a discount, the customer refused it. No complaint has not been lodged with the GHMC. 

The customer, who did not want to be named, said, “I had ordered a chicken curry. However, I found a sponge piece in it. The supervisor and management tried to get rid of me. They also offered a discount, which I refused.”

 Mr G. Chaitanya, an eyewitness, said, “I was seated next to the customer who found the sponge.”

When contacted, the hotel desk ducked questions from this newspaper, citing the unavailability of the manager.
