Antigua will assist in extradition of Mehul Choksi

Choksi is now a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda.

New Delhi: Caribbean nation Antigua has told India it will fully cooperate in the matter of extradition of Punjab National Bank scam-accused Mehul Choksi to India, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday. 

Choksi is now a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda. The assurance was furnished by Foreign Minister of Antigua & Barbuda Chet Greene to Sushma Swaraj during their bilateral meeting in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
