BJP dismisses allegations

Hyderabad: Refuting allegations made by Congress leader A. Revanth Reddy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was behind the raids on his offices, BJP leader G. Kishan Reddy asked why “he should worry if he has not committed any mistake”.
He said Mr Reddy’s claims that the raids were carried out at the instance of the BJP and Mr Modi were baseless and mischievous.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the law would take its own course and the BJP as a party would not benefit from such raids. He slammed Congress leaders Uttam Reddy and Jana Reddy for making baseless allegations. Unlike the Congress and other political parties, the BJP administration would not interfere in the functioning of regulatory and investigating agencies, he said.
Alleging that there was a quid pro quo agreement between the MIM and TRS, Mr Kishan Reddy hoped that the High Court would quash the allotment of land to the Owaisi Medical College at Bandlaguda.
The BJP leader alleged that the Owaisi family was minting money by selling medical seats to affluent students.
To a question Mr Kishan Reddy said that the BJP was fighting against the TRS government and there was no truth in the campaign that the BJP and the TRS were one and the same.
