Warangal Urban, Kothagudem, Karimnagar, Kumaram Bheem, Nizamabad and Hyderabad received high levels of surplus rains, with the state capital showing an excess of 15 percent.

Similar is the case with coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The coastal belt received 11 percent excess rainfall, with East Godavari, Guntur and Srikakulam districts recording the highest rains.
