SP Velumani dismisses DMK version of techie's fatal road accident

Coimbatore: Denying charges leveled by the local DMK MLA, Karthik blaming AIADMK politicos for the death of a US-based techie in a road mishap near Hope College here recently after his bike had hit a temporary wooden arch put up for the upcoming MGR birth centenary celebrations, Municipal Administration minister, Mr S P Velumani on Monday asserted that was not the cause of the youth's death.

“The victim Raghupathy is a distant relative of mine and according to the police, a lorry following Raghupathy's bike ran over killing him at the spot,” the minister told DC, in refutation of the DMK MLA'’ charges.
