Hyderabad: The police have opened rowdy sheets against six candidates, who are contesting the Assembly elections.

None of them are from any major parties. Of these, three belong to parties that smaller footprint in the state Ravi Srinivas, a BSP candidate from Sirpur constituency, Ganesh, a BMP candidate from Bhongir,  and Majeed Ullah Khan Farhat, an MBT candidate from Yakutpura. The other three are independent candidates M. Anand contesting for Jadcherla seat, P. Venkat Reddy, Sanathnagar, and Billa Sudheer Reddy, Palakurthi constituency.

A rowdy is person who is habitual peace destructor or breach of peace.
