\'Aero India 2023\' in Bengaluru from Feb. 13
BENGALURU: Asia’s biggest air show ‘Aero India 2023’ is set to be held at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru for five days from February 13 and the dates for the air show were announced here on Monday. The aero show in Bengaluru, a biennial event, will be the 14th edition of the event while the maiden edition of the aero event was held in 1996. The air show is also an aero exhibition.
Owing to Covid-19 pandemic, the Aero India show held in 2021 was cut short from five days to three days. However, this year's event will be held for five days like the earlier.
The Defence Ministry, Indian Air Force, Defence Research and Development Organisation, Department of Space and Civil Aviation Ministry are among the prominent organisations that come together to host ‘Aero India’.
The first three-days of the show are reserved for business visitors and the last two-days are open to the general public. In the last edition of the show, as many as 513 firms and a delegation from 43 nations participated in the event. The ‘Aero India’ over the years has earned a great reputation across the world and the event has recorded increased participation from both exhibitors and the public turning out to be the largest air show in Asia.
