Hyderabad: EVMs and alternate photo identity documents

 Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district election authority (HDEA) advised presiding officers (POs) to collect electronic voting machines from the distribution, reception, counting (DRC) centres on Wednesday, a day before the polling.

From the DRC centres, the EVMs will be shifted to 4,119 polling stations in 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district.

“Their trip will be tracked and the vehicles should follow the route map provided," said a HDEA official.

The POs were instructed to keep handy the absentee, shifted, and duplicate or dead (ASD) list on the polling day and conduct the mock polling at 5.30 am in the presence of polling agents.
