Ernakulam: Project hope' to train 44 failed SSLC students

The project aims at bringing about total change in the personality of the students.

As many as 96,364 students will be appearing for the ensuing Intermediate Public Examinations in East Godavari.

Kottayam: The police in the district will provide expert training to students who have failed in the SSLC examinations.This is part of the ‘Project hope’ launched by Ernakulam range IG P. Vijayan on July 7 on the lines of Student Police Cadets( SPCs). The project aims at bringing about total change in the personality of the students.

A total of 44 students in the district were identified by the police by contacting the District Education Office ( DEO). "The students will be brought into the mainstream by giving them classes on the syllabus as well as through motivational speeches by professionals,"  DCRB DySP Shajimon Joseph told DC. 'Project hope' will  be implemented in the Ernakulam range jurisdiction of the police.
