Rajahmundry: An all-party delegation and representatives from various fora are going to submit a representation to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with a request to set up the headquarters of Godavari Urban Development Authority in Rajahmundry, instead of Kakinada, shortly.

Sources privy to the development say that as the Assembly sessions are underway and the public representatives, ministers and the Chief Minister are preoccupied with the sessions, they want to meet the CM after conclusion of the Assembly sessions. A delegation comprising local MPs, MLAs and MLCs along with other representatives intend to meet the CM to prevail upon him to issue an order by making Rajahmundry as GUDA’s head quarter. The delegation also wants to know about the funding pattern to take up developmental works falling under GUDA’s jurisdiction.
