Kozhikode: HSS students donate books to school library

On previous occasions, the students had indulged in mudslinging and drum-beating creating nuisance to the school and the public.

Kozhikode: The senior  students of Government Higher Secondary school at Kokkallur made their final day on Wednesday memorable by donating books to the school library. This was totally different from the boisterous manner in which students usually  celebrate the day  creating trouble for the authorities forcing them to call police and the parents.   

 The HSS students of  Kokkallur, who donated the books, were given seed pencils sponsored by an alumnus and expat, Mujeeb Rahman.  Sweet were also distributed among all students.  

"This time we planned a creative event involving students to wean them away from unruly activities in the name of celebration. The students wholeheartedly participated in it," said Dr B. Shibu, HS  teacher.  On previous  occasions, the students had indulged in mudslinging and drum-beating creating nuisance to the school and the public.
