Hyderabad: Forester caught taking Rs 50,000 bribe
The Forest Section Officer was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for ACB cases - Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: Officers of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) laid a trap and caught Mohd Kareemuddin, the Forest Section Officer of Chegunta section, Toopran sub-division, Medak, demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs, 50,000 in exchange for an official favour.
The officer was caught red handed at his office-cum-residence in Chengunta on Saturday. He was accepting a bribe from Chintakindi Lingam, an aide of the complainant P. Mallesh. He had demanded the money in exchange for sanctioning an amount of Rs 3.62 lakh for avenue plantation.

The ACB appeals to the public to call the toll-free number 1064 and file a complaint if any officer of a state-run agency demands a bribe.
