Telangana: Bachelor of Engineering aspirant enters 1,015 options
Certificate verification was conducted from June 12 to June 21, and option entries were taken from June 16 to June 23.
Hyderabad: As many as 1,06,058 candidates qualified in the first phase of web-based counseling for admission into engineering courses for 2017-18. Certificate verification was conducted from June 12 to June 21, and option entries were taken from June 16 to June 23.
In all, 56,046 students were allotted seats; the total number of seats in engineering colleges is 64,300. According to data, all seats were full in 91 colleges and four had admissions in single digits.
Interestingly, one of the students had entered 1,015 options. In B.Pharma, 151 seats were allotted against the 2,958 seats available. For D.Pharma, 44 students were allotted alloted against 440 available.
Selected candidates were advised to report at the allotted colleges from June 29 to July 7 and hand over photostat copies of allotment order and all certificates, joining report downloaded from the website, fee paid challan. Candidates were advised not to hand over originals till the end of final phase of counselling. Candidates can participate in the next round of counselling for change of college or course.
