Telugu Desam ministers, MLAs, MLCs and cadre celebrated Nandyal byelection victory by the party with fervour.

KAKINADA: Telugu Desam ministers, MLAs, MLCs and cadre celebrated Nandyal byelection victory by the party with fervour. Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa, energy department minister Kala Venkata Rao, civil supplies department minister Prathipati Pulla Rao and gathered at finance department minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu's guest house at Thimmapuram in Kakinada Rural Mandal for celebrations.

Mr Ramakrishnudu said that Nandyal people gave us victory for development and good governance in the state. He said that the people have rejected YSRC. "People are vexed with YSRC chief's attitude and adamant behaviour. Nandyal Voters gave fitting lesson to YSRC. It will be repeated in KMC polls also," he said.

Mr Rajappa said that the Nandyal results proved that the people don't believe YSRC or its leaders. Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao expressed that YSRC leaders trusted an outsider like Prashant Kishore. "YSRC leaders neither have faith in people nor respect for democratic politics. The writing is on the wall from the beginning of bypoll campaign that TD will win.

Prohibition and excise department minister K. Jawahar said that with the Nandyal result, YSRC leaders should change their behaviour and learn to respect elders. Mr Jawahar along with MLC Ch Ramachandra Rao and district party president Namana Rambabu garlanded party founder-president late N. T. Ramarao's statue.
