Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday refused to entertain a PIL seeking to direct the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to rectify 9 discrepancies in the notification issued on May 31, 2018 to recruit 16, 925 stipendiary constables in various categories of police and fire departments.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice V. Ramasubramanian was dealing the PIL filed by Mr M. Mahesh, stating that the notification was issued providing excess age relaxation and excess quota for Home Guards.

While stating that the petitioner also participated in the recruitment, the counsel for the government submitted that the petitioner had no locus to move the PIL. Expressing disinclination to hear the PIL, the bench dismissed the case.
