Mysuru: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy asserted on Tuesday that there is no lack of coordination between the ruling coalition partners Congress and JD(S) amidst reports that co-ordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah was against the inclusion of JD(S) state president A.H. Vishwanath in the all powerful committee.

The CM was speaking to the media at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk here on Tuesday. On  differences between the two parties,  he said, “Everything is going smoothly. We are coordinating well. The coordination committee meeting was delayed for some reason.” “There are no differences as such between Congress and JD(S). If we resolve minor differences in some areas like Hassan (hometown of former PM Deve Gowda), everything will be fine.  With good coordination between the two parties, we will be able to win more seats in the Lok Sabha polls and a coalition of like-minded parties can come to power at the Centre,” he said.

When asked about the statement by Agriculture Minister N.H. Shivashankar Reddy that Siddaramaiah could become CM again if a decision is taken by the coordination committee, he retorted, "it is only the imagination of the media," Meanwhile,  Alanahalli police here arrested a few dalit leaders who were planning to protest with black badges against Mr Kumaraswamy during his visit to the Suttur matha, to condemn the delay in ensuring reservation in promotions.
