YSRC spreading misinformation on capital: TD
He accused the YSRC government of stalling the works on one pretext or the other.
Vijayawada: TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday slammed the AP government, accusing it of taking up a misinformation campaign on the development of capital city Amaravati.
Interacting with the party senior leaders in Guntur, Mr Naidu claimed that he had taken up development of capital city Amaravati with a vision to help the next generation earn good income as several investors would flock to the capital city to promote business in a big way.
He accused the YSRC government of stalling the works on one pretext or the other and alleged that due to the prevailing uncertainty about the continuation of capital location, investors were moving to Hyderabad to start their ventures instead of staying in AP and promoting business in and around the capital city.
Reacting to allegations of insider trading on the capital city lands during his regime, the former CM castigated the state government for taking up such a vicious campaign and wondered how the state government could do so when the farmers volunteered to part with nearly 33,000 acres land in land pooling with all good intentions and hope for a developed capital city.
