TRS men attacking people raising questions, says BJP

HYDERABAD: Alleging that TRS leaders were resorting to violence against people who question them on their performance during the party’s rule, BJP leader Ravula Sridhar Reddy said that a spectre of terror has been unleashed in the state.  Free speech was curtailed and any one questioning such legislators was branded as anti Telangana, he said after on Mr Yadaiah in Jubilee Hills constituency represented by Maganti Gopinath was attacked for questioning what development was done in the constituency. The situation in the rural constituencies was much worse, he said. 

Mr Reddy asked why the Election Commission did not make public the election code which was in force since the dissolution of the Assembly. The caretaker government has been indulging in several development works on all 26 days since the dissolution, he said.  The BJP leader said that though his party was not against distribution of Bathukamma sarees and Rythu Bandhu scheme, carrying on with such operations by TRS ministers and legislators was against the model code of conduct.
