KT Rama Rao tells TRS corporators to shape up

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao took GHMC corporators to task for their poor performance and warned them of stringent action if they failed to mend their ways. He pulled up corporators who were booked by police and those regarding whom there were complaints of discord with GHMC officers.

He asked corporators to work in tandem with GHMC officials and not display their political clout. He asked them to be available to the public  

Mr Rao briefed corporators on the development initiatives taken up in the city. Officials from the Water Supply & Sewerage Board, electricity and revenue wings were present.

A decision was taken to involve corporators in convergence meetings at the circle level in order to improve coordination between the corporators and officials.
