Traffic police are often seen penalising drivers for road side parking and this now extends to BMTC drivers too.
A city which has over 65 lakh vehicles plying every day on the roads needs better enforcement, implementation of traffic rules and infrastructure to bring in discipline in parking. Technology is the answer to curbing roadside parking but the pre-paid parking system exists only in a few spots. Imp lementing this across the city will make a difference.
