Nizamabad: Contesting candidates have adopted a two-pronged strategy to win in the Assembly elections. They are busy with election campaign during the day and prepare election strategies in the night. Reportedly, a few candidates have hardly slept for two or three hours daily as they were busy round the clock, the whole of last fortnight.

In view of early declaration of candidates, TRS nominees have completed their three-phase campaign in their respective Assembly constituencies. Caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, MPs K. Kavitha, Mr. B. B. Patil are now making whirlwind tours of all nine Assembly constituencies in Nizamabad and Kamareddy.

TRS leadership is giving top priority to invite influential leaders from opposition parties into the TRS fold. Sitting MLAs and MP Kavitha have been instrumental in strengthening the party at the crucial election time. Ruling TRS is ahead of its political rivals in using posters, banners, stickers, flexi banners and all other poll material.

Meanwhile, Congress candidates have also been touring intensively in their respective Assembly constituencies. They are mostly hopeful that the anti-incumbency factor will benefit them in the elections. AICC, TPCC coordination has turned helpful for Congress candidates as they are contesting in all nine Assembly constituencies.

BJP candidates are also showing their impact in Assembly elections as they are contesting for the first time without any alliance. It is believed that BJP nominees will play a key role in Nizamabad urban, Nizamabad rural, Kamareddy and Armoor Assembly constituencies. Interestingly, BJP leaders are calculating their votes without minority votes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, caretaker CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Karnataka former chief minister M.Veerappa Moily have, amongst other leaders, conducted election campaign in undivided Nizamabad district. It is believed that UP Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi, Union minister Smriti Irani and others will campaign in the district shortly.
