Bengaluru: Rowdy creates ruckus at city Police Commissioner's office
Muniraju wanted to visit police higher officials, he got angry and started screaming after he was stopped, saying he was harassed by police.
Bengaluru: The Bengaluru City Police Commissionerate witnessed high drama here on Wednesday morning, when a 25-year-old rowdy sheeter created ruckus inside the premises, alleging police harassment.
Muniraju, a rowdy sheeter in Mico Layout Police station, had come to visit police higher officials, but when he was stopped, he got angry and started screaming that he was facing police harassment for no reason.
It is said that the Muniraju’s wife had complained against him, following which Muniraju claimed that the police was unnecessarily harassing him.
When police tried to calm him, Munriraju took a blade out of his pocket and cut his hand and even threatened to cut his throat. However, he was soon rushed to Bowring Hospital where he was treated for minor wounds.
Muniraju is facing four cases, including a murder, two attempt to murder, and a case registered under Pocso Act.
