Singareni miner found dead after two days
Satyanarayana's body was found struck in the sand at the 20th level.
Warangal: Singareni Coal miner R. Satyanarayana, 50, who was missing since Wednesday was found dead on Friday by members of the rescue team who had been searching for him.

Satyanarayana was last seen when he was instructed by a team to control water leakage on a path deep inside the mine, at a spot called the 35th dip. He was reported missing soon after.
His family members who were eagerly awaiting his return were distraught after they were informed of his death. The police shifted the body to the Bhupalapalli area hospital for post-mortem.
Singareni area general manager Guravaiah said the family would be given '50 lakh ex-gratia and a job would be given to one of the dependents.

On Wednesday, Satyanarayana attended work as the support man at the barricade in the 11th level of S7 panel, third seem, 36th dip inside the KTK-1 incline.
He was instructed by Relay-D to control the water leakage on the road of 35th dip.
He was reported missing after he went to execute the job.
Rescue and mining staff members were called in and a search was launched.
Additional teams were called from Mandamarri and Godavarikhani. The 30-member team searched in the work areas and used to machines to see if he had accidentally buried in the sand from levels 11 to 19 but to no avail.
At about noon on Friday, his body found on the 20th level.
It is suspected that he got washed away in the current of water and sand due to the failure of the barricade in the 11th level and got buried.
