City encounters cold waves as thick fog blankets Hyderabad; residents urged caution.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad experienced dense fog on Friday morning, with a noticeable drop in temperature. Tank Bund area visuals depicted the city covered in a thick fog layer, while cold waves have been affecting the region recently.
Thursday witnessed improved visibility, especially at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), reporting a minimum temperature of 16.9 degrees Celsius—higher than the usual 15.2 degrees Celsius for this season.
As we approach New Year's Eve, December 31 is expected to have a minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius with a partly cloudy sky and haze. This weather is anticipated to continue into the arrival of 2024 on January 1, maintaining a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
Residents are advised to exercise caution, particularly during early morning hours, due to persistent fog.
