Help build capital, Amaravati CP tells students

Vijayawada: Commissioner of Police D. Gautam Sawang on Friday called upon students to become part of building Amaravati by contributing their part.

Addressing a gathering of students of Andhra Loyola College During the launch of ‘Loyola Run for Amaravati’, Mr Sawang said that students are builders of nation as well as Amaravati.

Mr Sawang, who is an alumnus of Loyola at Chennai, said that Loyola students are known for discipline and the same must be maintained throughout their lives for creating a better society.

 ALCAA director Fr. Rex Angelo said that faculty of Andhra Loyola College has donated '40 lakh to Amaravati through ‘My Brick My Amaravati’ initiative.

College rector Fr. Ravi Shankar and others were present. Hunderds of students of the college took part in the 3K run that was flagged off by Mr Sawang.
