No stopping him? Prajwal starts Lok Sabha race in minister papa's state car
Besides, Prajwal is also accused of making personal use of the government car.
Hassan: He may not have entered politics yet, but Minister for Public Works H.D. Revanna’s son, Prajwal, is already creating controversy.
Tipped to replace his grandfather and Janata Dal (Secular) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda as the candidate for Hassan in the coming Lok Sabha election, he is inviting strong criticism for using the official car meant for his father to campaign in the constituency.
On Tuesday, Prajwal was seen driving around Hassan town in the car (KA 01 GA 8009) with the words “Karnataka Sarakara” (Karnataka Government) clearly printed on its rear.
He was caught on camera seated in the front of the car and was heard speaking to a woman, telling her to meet him at his Holenarsipura residence to sort out her problems. At another spot in the town, Prajwal was seen talking to a youth before boarding the car and leaving.
Although he has not yet been declared the party’s candidate for Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, Prajwal has clearly decided not to waste any time with the parliamentary poll fast approaching and has been canvassing hard for it. But he has invited criticism by doing his rounds with his supporters in the car used by his father to discharge his official duties. Besides, Prajwal is also accused of making personal use of the government car.
