ACB arrest MV inspector for taking bribe
An amount of Rs 28,470 was seized from their possession.

Hyderabad: An Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector, working in Zaheerabad, and her driver were held by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) when she demanded Rs 500 to allow the vehicle into the State.
ACB officials said that on Tuesday, L. Trivenibai, AMVI at RTA check post in Zaheerabad, was caught when she demanded Rs 500, through her driver Syed Chand Pasha from one Keval Thanki, a transport businessman from Gujarat, to allow the entry of his lorry (GJ25 U9237), to Telangana state. An amount of Rs 28,470 was seized from their possession. They were arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Hyderabad. Investigation is on, said the officials.
