Autorickshaw driver dies at Pawan Kalyan’s rally
A huge crowd estimated at about 10,000 people had turned up at the Srinivasnagar centre which was barely sufficient for them.

Kurnool: Siraj, a 30-year-old autorickshaw driver, died during a stampede at a public meeting organied by the Jana Sena for its president K. Pawan Kalyan at Nandyal on Friday.
A huge crowd estimated at about 10,000 people had turned up at the Srinivasnagar centre which was barely sufficient for them. When Mr Kalyan arrived at the venue, there was a sudden surge as people tried to get close to him.
In the melee, some rods erected to fix loudspeakers fell down and the people panicked. It is suspected that Siraj fell down in the rush and was trampled upon. He was rescued and shifted to the Government General Hospital at Nandyal where he died while undergoing medical treatment.
