Shoot starts for ‘Made in AP’ film

Vijayawada: ‘Abhilasha’, a Telugu movie, would be entirely filmed in the state capital Amaravati.

The film is being produced by Krishnakanth Creations productions and it will be first Telugu movie to be filmed completely in Amaravati and in the state.
On Monday, MLA Gadde Rammohan formally launched the film shooting.

Producer V. Venkateswara Rao said that he was proud that Abhilasha would be completely shot in Amaravati and be the first movie to achieve this distinction.
Film director Bhimji Achanta said that the film would be shot in two schedules and would be released in time for the Dasara festival. He said that the first schedule would be filmed in Amaravati, Vijayawada and Nuzvid and the second in and around Godavari areas.

He said that Abhilasha is a family, drama and youth entertainer and would attract the public.

Achanta said that earlier, he had directed Godavari Navvindi, his first film as director. That film would be released soon.

Lead actor L. Bhat said that earlier he had acted as the lead in the TV serial Swarna Khadgam which has been dubbed into four languages. He hoped that Abhilasha would be a massive hit and would bring recognition to AP and Amaravati.
