Telangana advocates body gets new chiefs

Sources said Mr Reddy secured 585 votes to win the president’s chair.

Hyderabad: Mr T. Surya Karan Reddy and Mr Chalapathi Rao Suddala were elected as president and vice-president of Telangana High Court Advocate Association for the year of  2019-20.

The elections were conducted on Monday in the High Court premises for the executive body of the Association, in which around 1,612 advocates have used the right to vote. Sources said Mr Reddy secured 585 votes to win the president’s chair.

Similarly, Mr Tera Rajnikanth Reddy and Mr Sudharshan Maluguri were elected as the secretaries of the association.
