Bhopal: Congress MP from Dewas in Madhya Pradesh Sajjan Singh Verma on Monday announced Rs 1 lakh bounty for slapping those who killed a calf in public in Kannur in Kerala on May 27, with shoes. Mr Verma posted the announcement in his Twitter account while condemning the incident.

A reward of Rs 1 lakh would be given to those who would beat the killers of the calf with shoes and blacken their face in public, the tweet said.
