Bengaluru: The 62nd Additional City Civil and Sessions judge has reserved the order on bail petition filed by Mohammad Nalapad, son of Shanthinagar MLA N.A. Haris, for Wednesday.

Shyamsundar the court, “Contrary to what was told by the defendant lawyer, the investigation into the case is still underway as one more accused in the case is still at large and the report from forensic experts and the enhancement of the CCTV footage is yet to come.”

He also pointed out that Nalapad’s earlier bail pleas were rejected for the pendency of the investigation.

Shyamsundar also cited the High Court’s observation it made after watching the CCTV footage of Farzi Cafe where the incident happened. “Even the High Court, after watching the footage, had termed it as horrific, and had rejected bail,” he said.
