Telangana high court seeks stand on IT Grids MD plea
Their anticipatory bail pleas were previously rejected by a court in Ranga Reddy district.
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday sought the stand of the Telangana Police on the petitions filed by the IT Grids India Pvt Ltd MD Dakavaram Ashok and his wife and director of the company Srilakshmi, who sought bail on the event of their arrest in the data breach case.
Justice P. Naveen Rao was dealing the petitions filed by Ashok and Srilaxmi.
Following a complaint filed by one T. Lokeshwar Reddy, who charged the IT grids management with leaking sensitive information pertaining to the voters of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state, two FIRs were registered against Ashok and Srilakshmi in Madapur and Sanjivreddy Nagar police stations.
Their anticipatory bail pleas were previously rejected by a court in Ranga Reddy district.
Subsequently, they approached the high court seeking the same relief.
According to sources, the police officials have been searching for Ashok ever since this data leak episode has come to the fore and has garnered a lot of attention from all corners of the country. However, Ashok failed to respond to the notices issued by the police.
