Cyberabad cops beef up security in IT corridor

Hyderabad: With Wednesday’s arrest of the IS suspects who were targeting malls and IT zones, the Cyberabad police has beefed up security.

Cyberabad (West) police commissioner Naveen Chand said that security in the IT corridor had been beefed up. Gachibowli inspector J. Ramesh said that they had deployed forces at Cyber Towers, Wipro Junction and other areas. “Besides this, we are conducting vehicle checks at Gachibowli, Kondapur, Anjaiah Nagar and other areas,” he said. Madhapur inspector R. Kalinga Rao said that security had been strengthened from Madhapur to Cyber Towers.
