Hyderabad: A well-known contractor-cum-builder who owns a chain of ventures and is a close aide to TRS’ top brass is likely to be inducted to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s (TTD) Board as a member from Telangana state. The new board is slated to be constituted in early July under the chairmanship of YSRC leader Y.V. Subba Reddy.

A highly placed source told Deccan Chronicle: “Besides bureaucrats, political representatives from Telangana state, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will be appointed to the new board as members. The Chief Ministers of other states have been pressurising Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to appoint members from their respective states. Mr Reddy has zeroed in on a businessman from Telangana state while the rest are yet to be selected. The board is likely to accommodate 16 members against the previous 120-member committee. The CM will discuss the appointments soon.”
