IMD puts out heavy rain alert in AP and Telangana
On Monday, Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district recorded 11 cm rainfall followed by 6 cm rainfall in Julapalle, Karimnagar.

Hyderabad: The IMD on Monday said that heavy rainfall would occur at isolated areas till September 1 in nine districts in AP and seven of Telangana, with a low pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal moving towards north coastal AP.
The alert has been sounded for Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts. in TS and Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam and Nellore in AP.
