Nalgonda jinx for Nandamuri family
One of his sons died in 2014 while another son, actor Jr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, escaped death after separate road accidents.
Hyderabad: With the third road accident in Nalgonda district, in which two persons of the Nandamuri family have been killed, it seems that the family is jinxed by Nalgonda.
One of his sons died in 2014 while another son, actor Jr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, escaped death after separate road accidents in undivided Nalgonda district. The latest is the death of N. Harikrishna. Known for great driving skills, Nandamuri Harikrishna had driven light motor vehicles for several continuous hours. Harikrishna loves driving. During Telugu Desam party founder President and his father N.T. Rama Rao’s election campaign, Harikrishna drove NTR’s “Chaitanya Ratham” over 75,000 km without any rest, covering all villages in combined AP. He did not allow drivers to drive the Chaitanya Ratham.
Harikrishna therefore became famous among the people of AP. But ironically, he died in a road accident.
In 2009, Tarak met with a road accident at Suryapet when his speeding SUV turned turtle. Tarak received injuries to his head, spine and other parts of his body. Five years later, on December 6, 2014, Harikrishna’s elder son Janakiram met with a road accident in the erstwhile Nalgonda district. Janakiram rammed his SUV into a tractor that was moving in the opposite direction and succumbed to his injuries.
Father & son drove SUVs having the registration numbers '2323' It can be observed that the SUV (Tata Safari) in which Janakiram was travelling
before his death and the vehicle in which his father Harikrishna travelled before meeting with the accident had vehicle registration ending with similar numbers and were of silver colour.
Janakiram's Tata Safari had the registration number 'AP 29 BD 2323', while his father Harikrishna was driving the Fortuner with registration number 'AP 28 BW
2323'. The father-son duo was killed after the car they were driving met with the road accidents. However, the SUV in which Jr NTR travelled had a different registration number 'AP 37 AE 9999' and it was also a Tata make (Safari - Black coloured) vehicle.
