Rs 124 cr for RR infra works: Minister Mahender Reddy
Mahender Reddy asked Congress and BJP leaders to explain why their party govt had failed implement Dalit Bandhu in Karnataka and Maharashtra
Hyderabad: P. Mahender Reddy, minister of information and public relations, on Tuesday said that the government had provided Rs 124 crore for Rangareddy district for constructing roads and bridges. He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for constructing a bridge at Komarabanda of Shabad mandal in the district on Tuesday.
He will take charge minister on Wednesday at 2 pm at the Secretariat. He took oath on August 24 at Raj Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahender Reddy said that the state government had provided huge funds for the district for taking up development works by constructing roads and bridges. In just the Chevella constituency, the government had provided '52 crore.
“IT minister K.T. Rama Rao took measures for the setting up of a number of companies in Shabad and the area has developed as industrial locality. The Congress and BJP have no right to talk about development works taking place in Telangana," Mahender Reddy said.
Mahender Reddy asked Congress and BJP leaders to explain why their party governments had failed implement the Dalit Bandhu scheme in Karnataka and Maharashtra. The Congress had announced several declarations to create confusion among people in Telangana.
