BENGALURU: In order to create awareness among motorists to follow traffic rules and reduce traffic violations in the city, Bengaluru traffic police in association with students of Lisaa School of Design and Creo Valley School of Film and Television gifted traffic violators with stickers.
The unique drive was carried on Thursday morning in Koramangala Forum Mall T Junction. Around 50 odd students along with Bengaluru traffic policemen conducted the drive at busy junctions, spotted the traffic violators and gifted them stickers. These stickers were meant to be a remembrance sticker for the violators so that they don't violate the traffic in future and also a sweet way of conveying to buckle up, wear helmet or follow traffic rules.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, traffic (East), Abhishek Goyal lauded their efforts and said, “We need active support from the students to create awareness and I am glad that Lisaa School of Design and Creo Valley have come up with such a unique concept. I am sure this will go a long way in creating awareness.”
