Cauvery Row: Review Petition Filed Before CWMA, Says Karnataka CM

BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday stated that a review petition has been filed by Karnataka against its order to release 3,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu till October 15 and a review petition will also be filed in the Supreme Court if the situation demands.

The review petition was filed by Karnataka after CWMA had asked Karnataka to release 3,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu till October 15 and to settle the backlog. Siddaramaiah said the review petition has been filed taking into consideration the suggestions offered by retired Judges of Supreme Court and Advocate General.
