HYDERABAD: TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy performed Chandiyagam on Friday in Kodangal along with his family members, participating on the last day of the three-day event held at his residence. His wife Geetha, daughter Nymisha, and son-in-law G. Satyanarayana Reddy participated in the yagam.

The TPCC chief, who was elected as MLA from Kodangal thrice in 2004, 2009, and 2014, has applied to represent the constituency again.

Speaking to media persons later, Revanth Reddy said that he had performed the yagam for the well-being of the people of Kodangal as well as Telangana and had prayed to God to bring a pro-people government in Telangana after the Assembly polls.

He said that he had prayed for freedom, equality, and inclusive development for the people. He hoped that the Chandiyagam would bring good days for the state.

Revanth Reddy added that he had achieved this position in politics due to the blessings of the people of Kondagal.
