IoT Hackathon held for 1st time in Telangana
This aim of this initiative was to build a talent pool of engineering students to be industry-ready or to start up on their own.
WARANGAL: For the first time in Telangana, a novel two and a half day IoT Hackathon was conducted at the SR Innovation Exchange. The hands-on workshop was held for start ups and working professionals. Nearly 31 participants attended and built IoT product prototypes. Sreedevi Devireddy, CEO of SR innovation exchange said tha t the product Innovation Lab series-I concluded successfully.
“This aim of this initiative was to build a talent pool of engineering students to be industry-ready or to start up on their own. These students have undergone a five-week intensive program which focused on the theme of IoT related ideas and products.
We will be organising a Makeathon on November 12 and 13 in association with IESA”.
Venkata Shimadri, the CEO of Moschip Semiconductors, emphasised the need to develop engineering graduates in niche technologies. Mr Venkata Shimadri asked students to spend more time in labs than classrooms.
He along with the chairman of SRiX Madhukar Reddy distributed certificates to IoT HACK participants and SRiX Product Innovation Lab IoT Series1 participants.
Chief facilitators for the hackathon Sisir Chandra Co-Founder Navrithi Innovations, B.S.Rao, Leadership coach, Ravi Devullapally, Vice-president Technology Business and Narsimulu Cinasi, Manager Technology at SRiX were present.
