Khammam: The T-Congress continued its attack on the Central government’s failure to ease the sufferings of the common man due to demonetisation on Tuesday, and the TRS government in the state for failing to keep poll promises.

Led by TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, party activists took out a rally in Wyra to highlight the failures of the NDA government at the Centre and the TRS government’s inability to clear pending fee reimbursement dues and loan waiver scheme.

Mr Vikramarka accused the state and Central governments of failing to agricultural labourers, who lost their working days due to the demonetisation.
“Congress was never against demonetisation.

It is fighting against the way the Central government is implementing the scheme,” Mr Vikramarka said, adding that there was no solace to the poor and daily wage earners, and other common people since the past 21 days.
