Hyderabad: Loco pilot parents get accolades
Friends, relatives and others thronged Supriya's residence here at Kanteshwar and congratulated her parents with bouquets.
Nizamabad: Metro loco pilot Supriya’s parents Prabhavati and Pramod Kumar received accolades from people here on Wednesday. Ms Supriya drove inaugural metro rail in Hyderabad on Tuesday, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan travelled.
Friends, relatives and others thronged Supriya’s residence here at Kanteshwar and congratulated her parents with bouquets. BJP leaders led by Nizamabad urban Assembly constituency in-charge Dhanpal Suryanarayana visited Supriya’s residence and appreciated her parents for their daughter’s achievement. Speaking to newsmen, Supriya’s parents said that they were surprised seeing their daughter piloting the metro rail. “We were unaware about Supriya’s maiden drive of Metro rail” they said. They said that Supriya had completed her schooling and Intermediate in Nizamabad and pursued B.Tech and M.Tech in Hyderabad.
