Khammam: 375 special buses for Medaram festival

The officials came forward with a package that special buses will be plied from the small towns if 40 to 45 devotees wanted it.

Khammam: Khammam RTC region will ply 375 special buses from Khammam and Kothagudem during Sammakka-Saralamma festival at Medaram. Though the festival will be held from January 30 to February 2, the RTC officials will run them from January 28 to February 4. About 175 buses will be operated from Khammam and 200 buses from Kothagudem. 

The officials came forward with a package that special buses will be plied from the small towns if 40 to 45 devotees wanted it. For example, about Rs 26,000 will be charged if a special bus from Madhira to the site of Sammakka-Sarakka Jatara. Such facility will be provided from any place in Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts.
