Google maps to locate Swachh auto tippers

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) stated an initiative with will enable citizens to locate and call the location of civic body’s garbage collector using Google maps.

The corporation has taken up the project on a pilot basis and has geo-tagged Swachh auto tippers also.

A senior GHMC official said that the corporation has already geo-tagged dumper bins and Swachh auto tippers to monitor their movement and the amount of garbage dumped. He said, as of now citizens can track the location of Swachh auto tipper using Google maps.
